So it's definitely 4 letters not 5 is it? It's odd that two peple have thought it was 5 letters.
If it is ALSO I'm not sure why part of many= A (okay it's one letter of it but that's a bit weak). Maybe the L comes from many?

Hello factor-fiction; yes the A comes from "Many" I agree it is a bit weak, but then so are many of the clues each week in this crossword. The L is part of L.S.O. ( London Symphony Orchestra) Musicians
