What do you think would be the best pair of answers for the following two clues?..

103d) Scoundrel, rascal (5) ?O??N
113a) Man's jacket (6) ???E?O

The 4th letter of 103d) a 2nd letter of 113a) are the same letter.

I could have either... MORON and BOLERO, or ROGUE and TUXEDO, as both pairs would fit?

Just wondering what the best answer would be?

I'm more tempted to go with Rogue and Tuxedo?

Thanks.

Rogue seems more likely than Moron. I think Tuxedo is more likely than Bolero.

ps. My mistake, you do not need to have
the N at the end of 103d).
rogue
tuxedo

103, ROGUE ?
Rogue seems more likely than Moron. I think Tuxedo is more likely than Bolero.

Thank You. I'll put Rouge and Tuxedo :)
Make sure to spell it as ROGUE not ROUGE though.
By the way, someone else has just posted this clue and given the letter pattern ?O?O? and MORON was suggested
Question Author
Yes, the letter pattern could only be ?o?o? if they chose to use bOlero, that's why I've paired both sets of answers in this case.
