Hi crossworders. I am stuck on two clues in grid A - all help gratfully received
Q - Witty remark to a republican...
R - Awfully virile nationalist...

Also can anyone help[ me out with the parsing of "Word picture that is on banknote" I have the answer but cant see why its "vignette" other than by the definition
