sorry the word begins with a D there is a curced line then drawn downwards to end in t. so its (6 letters) D?e?a?t
Is that the wording of the clue or is it some form of picture ditloid you are describing?
Is the "end in t" part of the clue?

WOrds that fit are EXACT, ENACT, EXALT, EPACT
Have you missed a letter, you say (6) but e?a?t is only 5.
So it's a picture you are describing and it has 6 letters D?E?A?T
Depart?
Ignore my pattern.
Depart- part of the letter D?

Say 6 show 5

second try shows 7 ?
It's all very confusing but reading between the lines I think DEPART will be right.
It helps to separate the description of the clue from your explanation of the letter pattern- I thought the reference to T was part of the clue/image

Sorry im not describing this too well its:
the answer starts with D there are 6 letters in the answer. DE?A?T

The clue has a capital D then a black line drawn downwards to the letter t. I presume the answer therefore starts with a D and ends in t.

Letter pattern?
You have shown,
E?A?T (5) & D?E?A?T (7)
so far.
It's still DEPART- sounds like D Part. I'm assuming the line points to part of the letter D.

Crossed posts ^^^^
Sorry- having read you latest description, if the T is part of the image then I can't justify DEPART

Decant is a better answer
