It's very hot and the form filling and paperwork is unbelievable. Haven't managed to do much of anything else yet. Please don't tell me it's cold and raining at home because I'm homesick.

I am sorry to hear you are homesick,perfectly understandable although I have never been in that situation but having said that I love the heat!Unfortunately I believe it is rather oppressive there,probably an understatement.To cheer you up a bit I am in Scotland and yes it is very chilly sunny and bright but a cold very strong wind making it even colder.

It's not oppressive here,you just dress respectfully when you visit certain places. As I'm turning 60 next month,I always dress like that. At the moment it's 39 degrees but at least we all have air con. Thank you chelle I'll pass that on to my oh,he's from the west country and I'm originally from Lancashire. We'll make the most of it out here and then back to England in August 2015.

I am glad to hear you are adapting,two years will pass by before you know it the rate this year has flown is unbelievable,and it seems to go more quickly the older we become,enjoy your time there,and you will soon settle in I'm sure.As I said I love the heat but that is just a BIT too hot even for me lol.
