Going round in circles here!

9a - Decided in advance - 3, 3, 5 - thought it was "cut and dried" but doesn't fit in with 1d - Shopkeeper (answer seller) so 9a first word starts with "l" from seller. Also, 6d - Come to nothing - t??? the dust - thought it was "bite the dust" but again doesn't fit in.

Got it - mistake made in another answer!! FYI - 1d Grocer: 6d Bite the dust: 9a Cut and dried and 5a Probed (that's the one I had wrong answer). Again, thanks to all
