A nice gentle solve after last week's rather tough one. Sneaky title!

We got the shape first, then the families' members thus resolving the gaps - but couldn't understand the title until we started typing this! About the right level of difficulty overall to us lesser mortals so many thanks to Cubic.

Having solved some of the harder puzzles this year and faced with a puzzle which some regard as entry level, why have we no idea about symmetry, blank cells, relevance of quote or families?

This was great fun! Suspected what the theme was from the quotation, and was thrilled when I spotted my first candidate. The left hand side had me baffled until the penny finally dropped!
I'm rather ashamed to say that I have no clue on the title, so feel I'm missing out slightly! I shall be back after the closing date for an explanation, unless light dawns before!

Philoctetes - honest! - it is, but needs to be very precise and perhaps a little smaller than you might think.

Can't see what so many here were complaining about - obscure? Surely not. Nice logical way through. I would've taken much longer to get the families without the shape, though. To paraphrase cruncher, I'm a quotation/shape/right entries/left entries/title sequence kind of guy. Thanks, Cubic!

Very nice! Other than a couple of word plays, all has finally slotted into place. Name in (broadly) northwest quadrant appeared relatively quickly once I started to draw the appropriate shape, then wiki helped with the other family members (not having acquainted myself with the source for 20 years or so!). Other family not familiar, but member in northeast-ish quadrant relatively apparent then google confirmed connection and other two.

Title a genius final touch which raised a broad smile and instantly made me think "Say what you see"!
