Oh dear the Daily Mail has certainly upset the Left, and out they have come, the Unions, even the Children, and of course so as not to miss a good protest the Muslims.

Seems as though the DM has scored a direct hit - disgusting taking children on a hate march carrying hate banners - talk about hate and racism bred from the cradle - the parents ought to be ashamed of themselves. Waiting to read what evidence DM turns up supporting their claim.

It is ironic though that the paper which so self-righteously accused a particular person of hating Britain should have no shortage of things that it also seems to hate about the country.
If Ralph Miliband 'hated Britain' then so does the Daily Mail. The fact is er all have things we don't like about Britain and things we do like. It's called perspective and opinion.
As far as these protests are concerned they're probably a waste of time but I guess there's only so much anyone can take of this endless assault without at least making some sort of token response

Why, AOG? Did the Mail or any other paper say that Mrs Thatcher hated the country she was living in ? Or make the innuendo that her family were bred to be against it too?

Mrs Thatcher was criticised by some for what she did, not for a belief that this country was to be hated.

The Mail's own readership are disgusted by this story. I counted the top forty responses and every single one slated the Mail for publishing the original piece.

In answer to your question, yes they certainly have stired [sic] the hornet's nest, but a lot of the hornets are Daily Mail readers.

Who exactly?

The people who bought 'Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead'?

Or people who critiqued her legacy?

Or the people who held parties to celebrate her passing?

Two of these actions, were childish and pretty sad - but none of these people hired a couple of pages in a national paper to perform a character assassination.

Let's be frank...the Daily Mail published a story claiming that a left wing academic hated Britain.

They also infiltrated a private memorial to rake up some more dirt.

I think a lot of people who may have been ambivalent of the Daily Mail, may be coming to the realisation that it is turd, but in paper format.

Any decent person would be disgusted by hacks deliberately trying to mislead their readership by telling lies and spinning stories about a dead person. Our Prime Minister said so and I expect he occasionally flicks through the rag.

Even I think that the Daily Mail readership includes a lot of decent people
