Ncis Los Angeles.

I saw an episode of this in which the main character G Callen was shot from a passing car. Does anyone know if he was actually killed. I couldn't believe it and thought he would be merely injured and would miraculously recover, as they usually do in this kind of series. I can't remember which episode it was, could have been the final one. They are, of course, doing repeats and he is appearing in all of the ones I have seen so far - it is really intriguing me so if anyone can enlighten me I shall be very pleased. P.S. I know it's rubbish but I like watching rubbish.

I love NCIS and especially love Tony di nozzo. Callan survives..,. just . I've just found out (spoiler alert) what happens next series (9) and who lives, who dies, who gets written out. It'll be shown here in the new year I believe. I LOVE NCIS. I don't think it's rubbish. I've watched every episode from the start including the first 2 series with the annoying Kate . I wasn't sorry when she got killed off and was replaced with the wonderful Ziva.
Haven't seen NCIS Los Angeles, but it wouldn't have surprised me if he had been killed. NCIS has killed off two of it's team, both Kate (agent) and Jenny(Director) have been shot on duty so they're not afraid of getting rid of important and popular characters. I must like rubbish too, I think it's one of the best programmes on TV.
"That was the last episode of the first series wasn't it?"
No, it was in the pilot episode[s].
'NCIS: Los Angeles' was introduced via the "backdoor" of 'NCIS' series 6. The double episode pilot (Legend Pt1 and Legend Pt2) ended with Callan's shooting, but he was fighting fit for when the first series of 'NCIS: Los Angeles' started proper.

Whoa!!! I didn't realise how many liked watching the same things as I did. So it isn't so rubbishy as I thought then and I need not hang my head in shame because I watch such trivia. I also watch Bones, The Mentalist, Monk, NCIS, Hawaii Five-O and various others of the same kind. Well, it keeps me quiet.
I recently 'discovered' NCIS via 5usa( amazing what a new telly introduces you to ;-)) )... I also returned to all the CSI programs. Trouble is,I've no idea what order they are shown in...but I still enjoy the escapism. My new fav is ' Person of Interest'....think that's it. I like Jim Caviezel....sigh
