He's a great long selection of books which have either been directly recommended to me, caught my eye somehow, or I would recommend to you.

I've arranged them so you can simply see all the covers at once because it's quite attractive!

Have you read any of them? Have you got any on your "to read" pile? Are any of them terrible in such a way that you'd encourage us to remove them from this list?

Enjoy!

Edit: Because Amazon doesn't like loading so many images for us, and randomly stops certain ones from loading, I will do this in batches over the next few days. Here's the first 20 :)

Sorry everyone - had a minor internet malfunction as this was entered :)

List just coming up!
For some reason (iPad?) I can only see half the covers. Don't recognise any that I may have read but will look at the blurb of a few that look interesting, as I'm judging a book by it's cover ;)
I've read The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and loved it. I also loved her first book, The Secret History.

That's better, I can see the full 20 there.

I'm currently reading The Goldfinch...its massive!... And very good. I've not read her others... I think The Little Friend is next. I have Perfect on my Amazon wish list...will check out the others.

I'm looking forward to more Ben Marcus at some time this year.

Maybe we should do lists of short books, and very long ones. I always like a book that comes in just over 200 pages.

The Goldfinch is one I've only heard about - those amazon reviews suggest a need for an editor. Do you feel the same?
Yes...its about 250 pages too long. During the first half of the book-though I was enjoying it-I was missing the feeling that "I MUST keep reading". Now...in the final third...it has become more of a page turner.

Scrivens - AB Editor just doesn't care about us. I've already posted that I can't get either of his lists.
I haven't got any of them on the small mountain beside my bed.
I can't even see a link to open (on Firefox) let alone look at the books

Could Scrivens and Captain2 and I start a small demo/protest movement?
