Can someone in the UK please find out for me whether or not I am eligible for the AZED crossword prize if I do NOT include a suggested clue

Same here ! I never send it in .Only ever submit the plain which I was lucky enough to win once .

Ah well - that's too bad as it's the only good Sunday crossword I know of. Do you happen to know of any other Sunday prize crossword which I can download? I don't live in the UK so don't have access to British newspapers

There isn't much to download for Sunday Farrwest .The Times and Telegraph are now behind paywalls so you have to subscribe .
You can download Everyman from the Guardian on a Sunday though .
A good monthly one is Prospect Magazine .

Also the Guardian Genius .Monthly and a prize .This months winner was from Canada .You still have plenty of time to enter !

I got absolutely nowhere with it even with a few tips on AB. The crosswords I most enjoy are the FT ones on Saturday and Monday which I can usually finish after a bit of work. But thanks for your ideas to keep my brain going on Sundays and farewell to AZED! I hope you're enjoying the warmer weather.

I live on the east coast of Norfolk ,not far from the most easterly point in the UK .
Sorry to hear you had problems with the Speccie .I only managed to do it with a huge hint from the good folks of AB .But once the penny dropped it was quite straightfoward although very time consuming .

Looks like Lowestoft. Spent a couple of enjoyable holidays on the Broads near there on leave from RMAS in my long past youth
