Thank you copelander, the rain did stay away until today, but, everything double wrapped and safe from the elements.......apart from the staff that is, they still had to cart in decidedly inclement weather, at least now only about 150 bales left in one of the in-fields so they can wait until next week.
How's your apple crop Christina? Mine is very sparse this year, also the sloes which were covered in blossom have hardly a berry to show for it, those blessed bees were cowering in their hives with mittens on I reckon! However, the courgettes, spuds and peas are doing their best to overload the freezer and clamp, can't be bad.
Now the end of the week and the clever clogsis will have sent off their 1129 and the dunces (Me) will be plodding on with the final few, but have to say it has been very uplifting to have the N & C back, must send out smoke signals to our missing Docs..........continued next week....I hope.
