Thanks guys.....kicked myself for timepiece but still can't see watercourse although I saw it as a possibility.
watercourse (ˈwɔːtəˌkɔːs)
n
1. (Physical Geography) a stream, river, or canal
2. (Physical Geography) the channel, bed, or route along which this flows
Water - Vichy
Course - sounds like coarse
Vichy is a spa town but apart from the water reference I can't see why it works. Maybe course sounds like coarse
You beat me to it again scorpiojo. I'm not sure where the definition is though
The definition is bed as per glasman's answer
Ah- the dictionary says a water course is "the bed along which a watercourse flows"
Thanks. It's hard to spot all the answers when they come so fast
No prob :)
