Where is everybody??
Having completed the last few Inquisitors quite quickly I logged on here to see if anyone needed help. Clearly everyone had done the same as there wasn't a single entry! However, I'm finding this one tough and now wonder if I've misled myself with 29a. I have a 4 letter answer stating with I and ending with A. Some help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Boreas. I had that too. In fact I have most of he right hand side of this puzzle sorted - it's the left hand side I'm struggling with. I can't seem to get going on this one. Maybe my brain is on holiday too!

Hi all

I'm around. I've been working on this on and off (mainly off) since Sunday. I have the three groups and location and 11 of the 17 letters and a virtually full grid but am struggling with the remaining 6. I have an idea what the remaining letters are The clues I'm struggling with are 13A, 18A, 24A, 27A, 34A 30D and 32D. Happy to swap answers etc.

I have these filled in but can't see extra letters. Yes, you don't need the extra letters to complete the puzzle but just for completion's sake.....shame the extra letters are wasted though.

Many thanks Slaney. Some of the clueing seems a bit iffy. I did think of IDS but 'contoversial minister' ?? OK, just about.
I have one of the additional characters now and can probably work out the other two.

Personally, I think working out the words from the extra letters is part of the puzzle - and it's fun to 22D them.
Gregsdad, there are 3 additional characters, not four.

Gregsdad, I think 27a must be "Liam", but am not entirely clear why! I assume you have 30a, which must surely be "ego" or "egg". Are you able to confirm which? Thanks.
