Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

We just had our penny drop moment and, with an almost full grid, have to make sure that we enter the correct bars - quite a task, and quite a feat, Ozzie, thanks. This has been most enjoyable.

Sorry Scorpius but I beg to differ on this occasion. If one is to allow surnames then there are more than three. A family on my street will be found in the top row and there is a famous place name there too.

EAChaplin, if I've understood you correctly, the place name is also an ordinary word to be found in Chambers. I think it's fair to assume that the five names are words that can only be names and are not words listed in Chambers.

Back from holiday, I found this to be more of a challenge than those when I was away. However, I am somewhat unhappy about the endgame, which seems to be fraught with danger.

I seem to have got a little behind (ahem).

Finally got round to this yesterday - very enjoyable indeed.

Rather tougher than some recent Listeners and the PDM was distinctly slow in arriving after an error in parsing one of the affected clues.

All done now though - thanks Ozzie.
