Good idea Jack but in order to collect the 150 points from Mail on Sunday you do not need the advertisement, you just need the row of numbers at the bottom of the last page, so why does mackam need the Event mag - I have often wondered why this question is asked?

Ah I have just twigged - of course this is the reason! If your numbers are accidentally not printed on the bottom (it sometimes does happen) then they ask you a question about something appearing in that date's newspaper just to prove you have one.
In my opinion that is SO mean mackam, I hope nobody helps you out, just buy one like we all have to do :( feeling annoyed!

What a horrible, mean spirited set of replies.
None of you know my circumstances and believe me I would dearly love to be able to go out and spend £1.50 on a Sunday Mail.
If it makes you all feel any better then I can tell you that I do buy the Daily Mail from Mon to Sat each week and until a few months ago I had a helpful person who would buy the Sun Mail on my behalf (and yes I did pay for it).
Please don't be so judgemental without knowing any facts.
