t=stumped and roll-on corset
sorry, st=abbrev for stumped
Stroll on, mate!
Question Author
I get the ST bit, but roll on??? Where is the surprise? Is it a regional saying maybe? Thanks.
st is an abbreviation for stumped
a roll on is a corset (apparently. I hadn't heard of that)
Stroll on is a British exclamation of surprise (I think it must be very archaic. I've certainly never heard anyone use it)
Question Author
Thanks for that :)
Not archaic. Fairly modern London saying. You guys are obviously from up north.
Question Author
I don't think so. From down the road from London by 90 mins :)
Alfie Moon: "Stroll on! Leave it out!".
