Many thanks folks, my brother can now go to bed. I vaguely thought of Beau Brummel, but that didn't work, but hadn't thought of Pole as in North Pole. Not that I'm sure I'd have got it even if I had. you can tell it's a family trait, being up at ungodly hours, my brother phoning me this late and knowing he wouldn't be waking me up. Thanks again.
