Both my parents worked full-time and I was brought up in a council housing estate. They eventually purchased their house which was semi-detached with a large garden.
Nobody here seems to question where you stay and whether you own or rent your property.

I certainly don't blame her for moving out - not because she is 'too good' for the street now but because of all the strangers knocking on her door asking for a 'selfie' with her and a cup of tea. And the abusive visitors, too.
