Morning Danny - I must have been busy typing my fairly inept explanations and so didn't see yor post and this flaming iPad's having another silly half hour(or perhaps it's just me) hope you are ok this morning. Just been to see the doc. Re my ongoing back problems and she offered me tramadol! Wasn't sure about that after Retro saying they made him sick so I ended up with gabapentin. Have you heard of them?

no, never heard of them but Tramadol have never made me feel sick.Got result of my spine x-ray.I have several crush fractures caused by osteoporosis and will have to have intravenous infusions( one a year for five years).Not looking forward to it as some of the side effects can be pretty unpleasant,HEy ho, just another ailment.:-)

Oh Danny it's never ending isn't it. So you have decided to go ahead with the injections then. Let's hope the side effects will not affect you too badly. Do tramadol work well, because if these gabapentin don't work perhaps I should give them a try.

Tramadol has always worked well for all my aches and pains.:-)

Black adder - thanks for the link, not sure I want to take them now. I really don't need anything that will make me drowsy, dizzy or make me gain weight! Have enough problems in all three areas without them. Could be back to the drawing board, or tramadol.
