Right To Reject Leased Vehicle
Within the past few weeks I leased a new car from a local dealership. The car has a fault with one of the front wheels. The dealership has tried three times to rectify said fault but without success. I contacted the dealer yet again to reject the vehicle who told me that it was the car manufacturer's responsibility and gave me their phone number. I contacted the manufacturer who told me that it was the dealership's responsibility. I now feel that I am stuck between a rock and a hard place! Whose responsibility is it, and do I have the right to reject the vehicle as unfit for purpose. I am prepared to accept a replacement vehicle but do not want to be stuck with a lemon.
