Here We Go Again

I've moaned about this before .Starting at 8 o clock every morning this last week or so and if last years efforts is anything to go by the next few months jolly farmers brown across the fields will be having his crow /bird scarer booming every 4 minutes in three rapid booms .He is probabaly allowed to but if other people had loud hailers booming out "Go away you thieving gits " to deter burglers it would not be long before the noise abatement society would be round.

Oh and all those animals in the fields moo-ing and bleating its a disgrace. Think of it this way weecalf, if he didn't have the bird scarer the birds would eat up all the seed and you would have no toast for brekkie.

Well, it keeps away all those pesky birds that would have woken you with all that noisy singing they do!!

Move to the city, it will probably be total silence at 8.00 am!

I know and another thing I've had to go out and ask the birds quietly and politely ( no booming ) to stop jumping up and down on the electric wires as I've noticed they seem hell bent on breaking them .

Isn't it reassuring to know that our Farms are thriving and providing Home grown Food for us!

there it goes again .....can nobody hear it .only me ...im off to the town to get a bit of peace ,all that traffic ,early carol singers ,,street singers ,pub singers ,bank tellers singing and dancing .butchers chopping ,,kettles whistling .preachers, unhappy punters cursing their luck , bank robbers screeching car tyres . take heart, eventually the birds become acclimatised and then the scarer becomes useless.

We also live near a basin, where there are LOTS of geese, the noise is mental.

Geese can cause massive damage to crops and grass, farmers have to protect their livelihoods.

and you can't kill them in case they lay golden eggs

You're lucky, we have F-15s rattling the roof tiles on a regular basis.
