I listened to what he had to say on the Andrew Marr show this morning and I thought he made a lot of sense, especially about Europe.
He has every right to speak out, the same as has anybody else, why shouldn't he? Does that apply to just Tory ex PMs or Tony Blair and Gordon Brown as well? Or is it just anybody in general you disagree with?

Major suffered from similar problems that later beset Gordon Brown, he wasn't suited for the sound bite, celebrity age. We unfortunately judge our politicians on how they come over on TV rather than their ability to do the job. Someone once said something along the line The electorate get the government they deserve.
