I have finally been listed for THR, and said to the surgeon - past history, ca colon, and a yrs chemo for lymphoma, oh and I have had daunorubicin...

and he squealed why dont you go back to your original treating hospital ?
[ obviously could see surgical mortality rates hovering on the horizon ]

They have run out of money and arent taking elective ortho....
whether or not that is the most sensible clinical course of action
