Thank you very much FrugalFred and ScorpioJo. They always seem so obvious when someone gives you the answer. I've spent ages working on number 50. Had guessed the DI part and when the question setter puts an exclamation mark at the end it normally denotes an anagram. Still no further forward!

"spoon" = behave in an amorous way; kiss and cuddle, i.e. love.
every drop to the end = "drain", as in "drain every drop from the glass".
Hence we have "SPOON DRAIN" - I suggest you google that expression.
