Any suggestion for 2 down would be much appreciated. The clue is "Usually flat-bottomed small boat or barge" (4) and I have T?O?. The T come from the answer to 1 across - another name for the koala - which I think is NATIVE BEAR. Otherwise I would think the answer to 2 down would be SCOW.

That's brilliant! I cannot find it it my dictionary, but when I put the word into Wikipedia it turned up complete with a picture. Many thanks to you both.
