A lot better. The feeling of walking on glass is ebbing,but, I am in a weeks rest from chemo. I start again at RMH on Monday and I suspect the glass will return pronto now that the chemicals are firmly established within my delicate frame. :-)

Retro - is the skin on your feet cracked? Is that why you feel you are walking in glass?

Strangely not.I was told to expect dry skin on palms and soles of feet with resultant cracking if liberal use of moisture was not used.
I use liberal blobs of Vaseline but the pain is under the skin. No cracks or dryness but taughtened and reddened skin
Have recently used Scholl "Cracked Heel " cream as well. Just have to grin and bear it for the next 3 months. It is the lesser of the two weevils and if it kills remaining cancer cells then I am happy to suffer it a bit longer. :-)

Retro - of course it wil be worth it for a positive result. I was going to suggest either Compeed cracked heel overnight cream, or believe it or not, Waitrose Baby Butter both of which have worked really well for OH. Saw the baby butter recommended in an article somewhere and it's brilliant for very dry skin and from memory was about £2.50! Your very positive attitude must help xx

Thanks for your advice/tips. Always prefer the word optimism to pessisism. It's easier to spell and rolls of my tongue better after the spiritual medication. :-)
