Missing a couple. Got off to a flying start then crashed!
4 ac "At Cambridge poor student's manner attracting bitterness" (8, two words)
and 22 down "No longer smirking grandbairn admitted to his stink" (6). I have
-oeing for this: is it poeing (as in po faced). If so why and if not, what?

Do you have any letters placed in 4a?
4a The wedge (student lowest [poorest] on the Tripos list at Cambridge) - 'thew' (manner) + 'edge' (bitterness)
