Monday to Friday are prize crosswords, no Sir Lancelot in online edition either, I have asked why but got no response
Dom, today's printed copy is shown as a prize crossword so shouldn't the on line version be the same,or is the on line version different to the printed one?
Where do I find the online version of the Mail Prize Xword? All I can usually find is a much simpler one.

Corylus, you have to subscribe to paper online and download the app on tablet etc
If the clues and grid on the online are the same as in the paper it seems to me that the developers are copping out by stating that it is not a prize crosswrd today. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago when the online clues were the same as in the paper but on that occasion you could download all of the results then if you wanted could rapidly fill in the paper edition and send via post. This lasted for two weeks fhen the online comp came back on stream now with no hints. I queried the mail at the time and was told that the problem was being looked into. Two weeks later back on line. I will be interested to find if next weeks on line cryptics are listed as prize puzzles.

Thanks for your info. re: the prize Xword Dominie, as I don't subscribe I'll just have to carry on trailing down to the paper shop in all weathers to buy the paper mainly for the Xword.
