Hello Roslyn251254, it most certainly was good fun. Had trouble finding my way in, but once the PDM had happened, (at 25d) it fell into place. I thought the WAY OUT clues were very clever. Soon be time for a preprandial Glenmorangie!

For once it only took me a single clue for light to dawn? Nicely constructed without being overtaxing the grey cells which are rapidly decreasing.

A very entertaining solve, and some superb clues as one would expect from Kea. It just goes to show that there's no need for a puzzle to require a humongous post-grid-fill task for it to be a good one.
