I have *e*a*and "serai" therefore fits. But i don't get the short chaps bit (and the whole is a bit tenuous!).
Help please!

The word does derive from the Turkish for Palace

Thank you Mamyalynne. I got the palace bit but i don't see the "chaps may be short" part. Like you, i am not entirely happy with it which is why i asked for help. But i am grateful that you responded. Anybody else able to help please?
