No one seems to have given an answer for P. Having completed the rest, I am left with Polynesia - not really an island, and I can't parse it. I am taking "set" out of "passionately" which does not leave me an "e". Anyone?

Possible typo, should be sat not set

HughSW - I think it's an error & the clue should read 'sAt out...'
