Well, I've filled in all the grid!
But unfortunately I haven't got all the superfluous letters, so I'm stuck!
I've Googled Triton to see if that helps. Basically I've no idea of the adjustments to make or what I'm looking for.
Any help gratefully accepted!

You don't need the letters to finish. The adjustments are just simple changes of letters - this will give you three girls/women. If you have a good look at the grid, you might spot most of the letters involved. Two are across and one is down. Hope this helps.

Thank you Neveracrossword. I've found the down person and one of the across ones, but for the life of me I can't find the third one! Is she as well known as the other two or am I being thick? A hint of who/where would be appreciated!
