I wish DM would do something about their typeface for the letter i in the crosswords.

Spent ages today with 1 down looking for something to do with a HOIST until I realised it was HOLST.

This is not the first time that I have been caught out with this.

It's the i's I have a problem with.The dots are too near the stroke.

I thought it said Hoist as well but my copy is Maltese Hopleaf stained DM.

Quite agree! The 6's and 8's get me too, put it down to old age!!

It would be much better if they used a serif typeface for small text setting as this is a problem with sans serif fonts -more so when the type is also condensed.
