Hi Arjay, regarding cheating, I've found one other on here (13 ac) that I've never heard of and still don't fully get. This site, and the excellent suggestions from fellow solvers, is the best place to find help but I use it as a last resort when I'm really stumped.
I occasionally use 'Anagram Solver' (http://anagram-solver.net/) which is O.K. if you've got a few letters, especially the initial one, otherwise it really just spews out alternative arrangements of letters rather than real words.
I also, occasionally resort to using on-line dictionaries.
Hope this helps.
