Has plenty to say about her early experiences but does she have too much to say or is it time to reform certain aspects of Westminster life which may make politics more appealing to the young?

"Maiden Speech Success Gone To Her Head?"

Aye, and still plenty of space available in there.
Westminster is run like a Gentleman's Club. The behaviour is like a Chimpanzee's Tea Party. Of course she is correct that it needs reforming.

Bit early to right off Black. Time will tell.
Nice one, douglas. ;o)
Yes we like to have a go at MPs on Answerbank
But if it's a young SNP MP doing it that's a different matter
How dare she :-)

Next Northern Powerhouse Minister? ;)
Maybe she has a point ? PMQ's sounds like a zoo sometimes !
-- answer removed --
My favourite bit of PMQ is when Mr Stanley Hollowbore MP for Toryshire North West rises and asks:
'Would the Prime Minister agree with me that he is doing a spiffing job and may I say Prime Minister how awfully tasty your boots taste this afternoon'
(Rest drowned out by er braying)
This is my favourite;

If there was a vote going on and an MP wanted to raise a Point of Order, the MP had to don a top hat to catch the Speaker's eye. That was abandoned in the late 1990s I think it was, not that long ago. Why can Parliament not go digital when voting and save no end of time when time when considering endless amendments? They'd have a lot more time to consider important matters in more detail.

TCL - can't disagree there!

Contractors found asbestos in her official residence, Bute House, in Edinburgh.
She's just filling in the time and getting as far away as possible while operatives have a wee tidy round.

oldbobasusual...why be so rude about Ms Sturgeon ?

She is an elected MSP and Leader of her Party, a Party that did phenomenally well in the May election. Doesn't she deserve some respect ?
You mean like Nigel Farage?

Oldbob...I am not sure what I said was being sarcastic ?

Sturgeon is the Leader of the Scottish Parliament. Isn't she allowed to go to China, or anywhere else ? Its seems that she is looking after Scotland's interests by going on trade missions. Maybe she will come back with some inward investment into her country...what is wrong with that ?
Depends whether the Chinese like her affable style, easy wit and charisma. What could go wrong?
