17 ac Two answers provided, each with good reason and by two experts.
Can we have a casting vote from someone please?
steven
It has to be Mamya as Scorpio got the first one wrong.
Sorry steven, my mistake :(
Jackdaw
Which one did he get wrong? And why is that evidence?
steven
Stop instead of Spot.
..she. The correct answer is stop - double definition..I mistyped and never noticed till now.
Stop can mean jam but I can't see setting. Spot fits both definitions; in a spot (jam) and setting as in place, a nice spot.
Argghh, I've done it again! The correct answer is spot Grrr.
now I am really confused! You give the same answer that you gave first time, Scorpiojo, but you say that you mistyped the first time,,,,
I put 'Spot' as it seemed to fit the clue perfectly.
It is spot, Steven. I mistyped again...grrr
Interesting word because of its anagrams: spot, stop, tops, pots, post, opts.
Easy done.
(I have entered spot in my grid, believe it or not:))
It is easily done. The two words I have particular problem with are from and form. For some reason from often comes out as form, but not vice versa. Odd, that.
