Think Jackdaw's going to have a hissy fit in a minute ;0))

(It's lasted longer than The Archers this thread)
So it was picture type clue without the word curve in it.
It could well be De brief d then. SHame we can't see the actual picture/text
I'm not sure there is a 1a, jackdaw
Regina looks ok for 2d.
...but 2d can't affect 7d
I thought that this crossword was the Irish equivalent of the Radio Times one. If there is not a 1a then there are no means of checking and the setter should be sacked. Yes, Cap'n. I might have a hissy fit because all I want is for the OP to clarify the issue; talk about drawing teeth!

Jackdaw there is no 1a
I suspect 2 could be ELAINE. MAD already shown, and MADELEINE is a requiem by Mozart. Eleine said is Elaine
Bakes bread does not fit the definition in terms of acquiring money so it must be Makes bread
Fair enough. In that case the first letter cannot be resolved so you must take pot luck. I have to say, with reference to my last post, that this is a bad clue. A competent setter will devise his crossword so as to lead to only one solution, avoiding ambiguity.
I would go with Makes bread.
I'm not sure, Calibax. The 'we hear' suggests it's "kneads dough"
Dave, we've been given ???i?a on the previous page for 2d.
RTE clues get worse, week on week.
1d and 2d cannot be related in any way.
How does 'regina' fit the clue at 2d, please?
To answer that you will have to tell me what the clue is.
2d was given earlier, jackdaw, as
2d Mad again, we hear Mozarts put her name to music
Clue on the previous page, Jackdaw
