Please can you retype the patterns with no gaps abd with a ? instead of the full stops

What I mean is that ? .? C ? U ?e ?l ? looks like 11 not 10. I could ignore the full stop but ignoring the dots would mess up the count for ? ? .? R. ? .? ? E.
