This man has got' LIFE' the 6 years 7 months is NOT the length of sentence!!!
It is just the time until he can start the process of asking to be considered for parole. In view of his history it will be very many more years before a parole application is even accepted for consideration, let alone accepted.
Even if he does eventually get released he will be 'on licence' only and liable to recall to jail without further trial.
