Wachman Oil Tank Alarm

does anyone on here know what is meant by the no echo symbol? we always keep our oil level low to prevent a large amount going missing should we experience an oil theft. but today this no echo symbol was displayed for first time ever and instructions don't give much away. boiler still working ok so enough fuel tank.

It does mean what bednobs says, and the only potential user remedy is to change the button cell in the oil tank sensor. Unfortunately that did nothing for my situation and research online suggested that these Watchman units (the ones that detect a sudden fall in oil level - not the original ones that merely detect level and have a long plastic tube attached to the sensor) are prone to failure of this component.
Unfortunately I found that the cost of repair by Watchman was fairly close to the cost of a brand new one.
