How Do I Make My Letters/words Darker?

When I go to different sites the words are a light grey, and I find it hard to read at times.
They are the same on here.
The size is OK, they just need to be darker.

W8 notorious for indistinct text trt. I don't use firefox but they have an add on called nosquint. Buenchico will know as he is a fan and user of firefox. Have a look at the link and maybe wait for Buen to pick up the baton.

@retrocop.........When you start-up your Computer/Laptop, the opening 'Welcome' page will display what Winddows you have at the bottom of the screen. Similarly, when you close-down, the info will be on the bottom of the 'Shutting Down' page.

You should be able to see the numbers from 0 to 10 clearly displayed on two lines. If you can't (which seems unlikely to me), follow the instructions on that page.
