Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

That was a lot of fun. It took me longer than it should have to spot what was going on in the Group B clues, even though I had seen what the instruction told me to do elsewhere. Many thanks, Harpy, both for the puzzle and for taking me back to the source of the quotation.

Excellent puzzle; very hard I thought. Luckily off work this morning!

Good fun - a slow start with some good tough clues - a wrong guess about the method of entry of the type Bs didn't help either.

But it came together quite tidily at the end and was a very satisfying puzzle all round.

Hm. Having researched it's structure, I'm fairly sure one theme word can not be said to come from their original location. A technical point only - doesn't detract from this wonderful puzzle!

Crossed the finishing line after a 4-day crusade. Worth the struggle, but I thought the final step was a little too obscure and we should have been given more of a pointer in the preamble.
