Jo, I think Dave was referring to the fact that "Whats 19d" is typiclal of some posters simply giving BA to first reply.He wasn't getting at you :-)

Dave, I asked ED to look at your post with a view to revising BA's but,so far, he hasn't replied

danny it doesn't matter, the main point of my post was purely to find out if I had missed something about BAs and just what value they were to the recipient for answering quizzes, puzzles etc. The terms as given by the Ed are understandable for advice posts and the like, as I pointed out in my original post. For matters that I respond to they do not serve much purpose.
