Hi there
I am worried I may have said something and got myself into trouble. I phoned a large educational establishment for course information on tuesday and I spoke to a polish person i was annoyed she was doing a clerical job and I told her she should be waitressing and not doing a clerical job as I am looking for work but never getting anywhere and I said that she had it too good in Scotland compared to Poland. Anyway I had a letter saying that this behaviour was unacceptable and in future dealings not to express nationalist comments and the call had been recorded. They didnt remove me from the course. They sent me a link about equality and diversity policy and student discipline but not a student yet. I am now totally paranoid that I am going to get arrested. But my friend says I would have heard by now and they wouldnt have written to warn me if they were going to take things further. My mouth will get me into trouble one day I just was in a bad mood and I took it out on someone very silly.

Gracious Gordie, well I think the College have acted very fairly and doubt you'll hear any more. Lesson learned I hope.

No, you probably won't get arrested.
Although perhaps a good talking to by a Police Officer might impress upon you that you really need to engage your brain before opening your mouth.
Haha now you know what the indigenous people of England have had to put up with for years. Complain to wee Burnie, I'm sure she will sort it for you. Was the course for a degree in diplomacy?(*_^)
You cant take your own failure to get a job out on someone else regardless of their race. if you take that kind of attitude to an interview or a job you wont last five minutes.
Just shows how far political correctness has taken over when you can't be a prat without fearing arrest.0

Is there to be no end to your travails?
Please try to get your thinking tackle into gear before opening your north & south
You were out of order and probably upset the girl that you were speaking to.

You were lucky that all you got was a letter.

Why shouldn't she do a clerical job? Or be a doctor or an Accountant?

Your behaviour was not acceptable, Geordie but I doubt you will be arrested. Thank your lucky stars that they have not kicked you off the course.
Not a man management course, I hope. Then again................
This is not the first time your bad temper has got you into trouble gordie.
You really do need to take an anger management course, it will help you in your search for employment as well.
With an attitude like this you are not going to get a job any time soon, you are your own worst enemy.

What everybody has said. Why is somebody else's job any of your business? And what do you think would happen out in the real world if you made personal comments like that to others you worked with? Just learn to keep your opinions to yourself in public.
No Geordie you will not be arrested
but if you thought you were then you realise that you have done something wrong
and so.....

If you are going to a course there and meet her - then apologise to her for your language

you might also mention that you have discussed it with your friends ( that would be us ) and they ( me, I ) have pointed out the Poles fought very hard for King George during the war and you have a lot to be thankful to them for
