When they pick say 5 winners what did the major newspapers do with the other 99995 entries, I wonder. Harvest the addresses or just bin/shred them unopened
I once asked the Sunday Express how many entries of a particular crossword were received on average . The answer was approx 3,000 so I don't think the size of the envelope would be much of an advantage when it is buried in that lot.
I bet that the Express have fewer entries now that Brian has unfortunately passed away. I have noticed a lot more answers have been requested on AB and other sites. ;o)
