Prominent members of the Tory Party and even the present Government, are queuing up to have a go at Dave, just as I predicted. They are even dissing the Chancellor, only a few days after cheering his Budget to the rafters.
Dave has more knives sticking out of his back than Julius Caesar. Just like Ken Clark, I can't see Dave lasting very long if he loses the Referendum. It will be an ignominious end to a so-so career.
well it shows we are not afraid to differ on this vital issue. This is more important than petty party politics. I think It's good that we can have the debate about our liberation from tyranny. Pity the anti British cannot see what's in front of them.
PMSL. Corbyn and his motley crew couldn't hold a candle to the Tories. This is not civil war; it is a fight for the soul of Britain, and those who should be ashamed to call themselves Tories will soon be brought to account. Not war as such, more political cleansing.
it won't do much harm to Dave; he called the referendum knowing it would split the party - he is hoping perhaps that it will lance the boil one way or the other, leaving him as the man who solved a long-standing problem - but he is retiring. I've nothing against him, but the next leader looks like being either Osborne, who doesn't seem competent, or Boris, who's a crook. The country will be the worse for being led by either of them.
Dave should heed the words of one of his illustrious predecessors ::::
“All political lives, unless they are cut off in midstream at a happy juncture, end in failure, because that is the nature of politics and of human affairs"
The irony is delicious. Most Labour supporters would usually do anything to get rid of a Tory government. I think most of them would rather leave Europe if it meant that they could put Corbyn in Downing St. Now it is pretty obvious that the majority of people who voted Tory, and certainly all of the UKIP voters will vote OUT. The remain campaign can only be successful if millions of dyed in the wool Labour voters follow official Tory party recommendations, the official Government line. I would settle for a Labour Government next time. We can always get rid of them, we have a vote(for now). We won't be able to get rid of the EU swindlers and liars, no voting allowed there, EU member puppets like Kinnock and an appointed for life EU politburo. Laugh I nearly did.
I am at a loss to understand why all politicians don't consult you before going about their business. Your predictions have become ... err ... legendary!
Togo......I must point out that we can also get rid of a Tory Government, just as we did in 1997, something the AB right-wingers always seem to forget !
And Europe played an huge and pivotal role in that defeat as well.
Whatever happens in June, the Tory Party will have been changed, utterly, and parties that are divided never seem to win elections.
TTT...if the Tories are divided, they are not electable, and Labour is the only other game in town. Unlike Blair in 1997, Dave did not win by a landslide ....far from it.
