Puzzle 1000 Pieces
2 Answers
Hello everyone
I don't know if this is the right place to post but it says "puzzle" so I'll try...
So I have a puzzle of a 1000 pieces that I started doing when I got it, but I didn't count the pieces the first time so I don't know if there were a 1000. Later, I didn't have time to do it so I stopped and putted all back in its box...
1 year later I found it back and I thought of doing it again, but when I counted the pieces, there were only 996.
The questions I am asking is if in a puzzle 1000 pieces, there are always 1000 pieces or if there could be a little less because I don't want to take 6 months to do it and to discover at the end that there are 4 pieces missing.
I hope that I was clear enough.
Thank you for reading and for your answers.

Maybe you miscounted.
I would never have think of counting the pieces to check. In the time it takes me to count them and double check I could have done half the jigsaw. Anyway the pleasure is in doing it six months pleasure is worth a day's disappointment when you get to the end and find some gaps.
