I don't think cosier can be spelt with a z though so has to be cRosier

Thanks. I don't recall ever seeing cosy being spelt as cozy but yes that spelling does seem to exist.

Sipo, agreed that crozier is an alternative but the clue indicates a letter inside cosier which cannot be spelled with a z.

Sorry, I stand corrected after doing a spot of research, but I repeat that the Mail does not accept alternatives.I believe that entries are checked against the setters solutions.
