Quite a surprising stance by the MoS.

However, you have to realise that the MoS and DM are for all practical purposes, different papers, with a different editorial staff, different features editors and journalists (although there is a sharing of 'pool talent').

Think of MoS/DM in the same way as you would have thought of The News of the World and The Sun. Same stable, different horses.
